Maintenance Team Leader
Starting Salary: £52,000 P/A (Negotiable)
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights)

Machinery & Systems
Machinery: High-speed manufacturing equipment including Conveyors, Dough Makers, Mixers, Separators, Ovens, Lifting Equipment, Robots, Cooling Towers, Packaging Machinery, Vision Inspection Machines, Case Makers, Palletisers, and other bespoke automation machinery.
PLCs: Siemens, Allen Bradley & Omron
The Role: Maintenance Team Leader
- Lead a team of 4 engineers, coaching and mentoring them to ensure development, morale, and high performance.
- Deliver project work including installations of electro-mechanical machinery, control panels, and electrical systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site, ensuring Health & Safety standards are maintained.
- Support reliability engineering and contribute to reducing downtime and increasing plant efficiency.
- Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee PPM activities to maintain equipment performance.
Entry Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Maintenance Engineer.
- Industry Experience (Preferred): Food, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Beverages, Distribution, Brick, or Automotive.
- Skills: Strong communicator across production, maintenance, and leadership teams.
- Qualifications: Apprenticeship trained with City & Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
